سر لوحه ی قواعدی که در این بخش از قاعده های کار می آید این است: «اگر نمی توانی حرفِ خوبی بزنی، حرف نزن!»

1.      Don’t gossip. There is one part of this rule that is really, really simple- don’t pass anything on.

2.      Don’t bitch. Moaning is pointless. It is unproductive and achieves nothing.

3.      Stand up for others. It gets you unwritten loyalty and a sort of guardian angel relationship with the more unpopular members of the team.

4.      Complement people sincerely. Being the sort of person who gives complements is quite tricky.

5.      Be cheerful and positive. So it’s a bad day. This too will pass the sun will come back.

6.      Ask questions. It shows you are interested in your colleagues.

7.      Use ‘please’ and ‘thank you’. A sincere and warm thank you goes a long way.

8.      Don’t swear. You can say what you want when you get home, or in the car on your own. But at work you don’t swear.

9.      Be a good listener. Good listening is a skill, a special talent, that you will have to practice and learn.

10.   Only speak sense. There are times when all the hard work can be devastated, destroyed, by a careless word or unguarded moment.
